I bought two pairs of these earrings; the first, about a month and a half ago, and the second, a few weeks later. I haven't worn earrings in years because I have SUCH sensitive skin - I'm allergic to silver, rhodium, pretty much anything "alloy", and any of the cheaper stuff, I was super lazy about taking earrings out at night (and putting them in in the morning), and I never liked having earring backs poking me all the time. I saw these advertised on Instagram as earrings you could put in and forget about (and leave in forever), so made the splurge on the 14K gold ones. It was a little tricky and uncomfortable to get them in, but I haven't taken them out yet (except for cleaning them once) and am loving them - no issues whatsoever!
The earrings/stones are smaller than I expected, but it's a fun little sparkle, and way better than nothing. They'd probably look really cute paired with a larger hoop or stud, but I'm just wary of trying anything else at this point since these are working for me, don't irritate my ears, and don't poke me when I'm sleeping or wearing headphones. My first reaction on opening the box was "I paid $XXX for this?!" because they are so small... and one of the four posts was bent a little bit... and in the box, they don't really look high quality... but you can't tell that the post is bent when it's in my ear, and I can't argue with the comfort and lack of irritation. None of them seem to be coming loose, and I haven't had any of them fall out. I hope to not need to buy them again, but would definitely recommend - and if I ever do lose one, I will absolutely be back for a replacement!
I did find there's a learning curve getting them in... what worked for me was sticking the threaded end through the hole (from the front), then screwing the back in just a little bit (maybe 25% of the way), using that as a guide to pull the back through my ear, and screwing the front the rest of the way in. It was absolutely impossible for me to find the hole from the back and get it through, but this worked well for all four holes (all ear lobe).
